I have had about enough of this, Legion, you smarmy bastard. You apologize to the whole lot of contestants but LEAVE ME OUT!!?!?! You thought I wouldn't notice that you don't even consider my efforts worthy of an apology??
Wait, does this mean I win by default as I am the only one NOT touched by the cursed hands of Legion?

OK, so I jumped the gun, there are others that are not on the list of apology receivers. It appears that this is an attempt to define the establishment. I now see how it is around here...be part of the establishment or get no apology. Newcomers need not apply because you will get no votes OR apologies.
Smarmy lot, inded....
Snark, snark...

Dear Mr. Split Personality
(That would be S.Hush, Legion Hush, Willy West, Feaster Bunny, Lady J, and whom ever else lives inside your body)

We are not sows. Some of our tunes may be sow's ears, but do not take that to mean that you can degrade our porcine friends. May the ghost of George Orwell reap your sows haunt you and yours.
Thank you.

But we did give you a little courtesy. Very little.Legion Hush wrote: I've made wonderful contributions to this contest and i feel have earned some respect and all i ask is a little courtesy.
Frequently, yes.Legion Hush wrote:But i regress.
I didn't want to believe it myself, but adj made a really strong case. It's hard to argue with him; he's really clever and wise.Legion Hush wrote:Where do you find the nerve to go out of your way to belittle me in front of all these other participants by claiming i am a "curse" and to those that are on my voting list, they are doomed?????
Damn it, you are the sweetest guy. Even when you're reaming me out, you go and apologize to me for doing it. Is there anyone in the whole of KVR who is that thoughtful and kind?Legion Hush wrote:I want to apologise to:
x Echo Voodoo
because you have to see this drama.
Alas, I must take responsibility for my actions. I didn't think it would come to this. I feel so many emotions right now.Legion Hush wrote:But you can just thank Echo and Xander for this. They are the ones who have caused it all.
I only hope you can forgive me. Knowing your great magnanimous nature, your overwhelming generosity of spirit, and your immense capacity for turning on a dime, I throw myself at your mercy.Legion Hush wrote:Yours truly and with great sincerity and hope for the future of this contest,
Legion Hush.
*sniff* I love you, man. *sniff*

Markleford - you fiend.. I love your track! Whilst there are the obligatory references, your love of KC is all over the place!
Good call.. thing is, is it too good to be voted for? After all, most of the best prog is consigned to history and just forgotten, while everyone goes and buys the latest singles by Mud and The Sweet...

I suppose it is!duncanparsons wrote:Markleford - you fiend.. I love your track! Whilst there are the obligatory references, your love of KC is all over the place!
Probably also noted the (exaggerated) nods to Yes and Rush in there...
Well I never have high hopes for the voting (though I must express some bafflement this month: figured I'd do better for the ring of authenticity? I suspect people formulate their Top 10s over the month and submitting my track the final day hurts that chance)...Good call.. thing is, is it too good to be voted for? After all, most of the best prog is consigned to history and just forgotten, while everyone goes and buys the latest singles by Mud and The Sweet...
But my hope is always that a track or two of mine will tickle someone's fancy enough to take into their permanent collection as an obscure favorite. Good enough for me!
