Oh dear, it seems you have the same disease I have. There is no cure, but learning another instrument, preferably acoustic, can help. I'm learning guitar...

Many thanks--beautiful patches. Make more!!

Great stuff, Michael! Love the jazzy tune's mood!

Thx all, glad you like em :)

Howard: On the disease thing, well its good to know i'm not alone on this ;)

The main reason why i looked towards Zebra 2 was for evolving stuff, so you prolly going to see some of this too.

But for now its back to bed and nurse my winter cold, everything sounds muddy. :(

When i'm back on my feet again i'm going to FORCE myself into using other peoples patches for a tune. There now, i said it and now i HAVE to do it heh heh

Here's a little something for fans of giant stereo saws. XY Pads are tuned to fun.

DLN Big Sawmill (h2p)

Pack includes variations of the same preset, to give an idea how the pads shape the sound.

They're ".aupreset" only. Can we PC-people load them somehow?
I quickly converted them to the internal format, they're loading fine under Windows:

Been very busy but today i took a detour and came up with this:

http://www.michaelkastrup.com/synthdemo ... ool_01.mp3

This is a (hold me forever) kinda evolving patch.

Theres a huge difference between the 128 kb mp3 demo and the real thing, guess its one of those dynamic things where mp3 quality cant keep up.

Anyway, heres the patch:

http://www.xsynth.com/download/MK%20Orbit.zip (in h2p format)

Have fun :)

EDIT: looks like all LFO's screws up if played at anything else than 120 BPM... eeeek

Looking forward to see a non synced LFO option ;)

thanks for posting that

Thanks, Mike. I'd be firing this patch up immediately, but I just got back from holiday (Egypt) to find a plumber knocking holes in my bathroom wall!
Looking forward to see a non synced LFO option ;)
Ditto (was my first request).

Ditto ditto !

Quick Q to everyone : When do you consider a bunch of sounds a soundbank for Zebra2 ? 50, 64, 100, 128 ?

I'm busy making sounds (first time in over a year I'm really excited about a synth again) and I'm at 28 sounds now.
Nothing too crazy, but useful and playable I hope. I'm still waiting for the MSEG bugfix to create more evolving and rythmic sounds.
