I followed the directions and loaded the XP upgrade (Gold was already installed). Some of the sounds work, but there are alot that return the following error:
Could not find sample
c:\Samples\East West\EWQLSO PRO XP Gold Library\<EWQLSO_Gold_lib_part8.nks>\CLSttF F\CLSttF36 F.wav
Was I supposed to run the "setup" file from disc 1? Is there a different VST for XP as opposed to Gold?

Happens if you install the new samples in a different subdirectory from the originals. You can browse to the original directory and click "use this for other samples." Annoying but there ya go.

Well that's strange because I installed them exactly how the directions said, in the <Receptor Hard Drive>\Samples\East West\EWQLSO PRO XP Gold Library\.
Should I move this folder into the original Gold folder? Or is there a way to uninstall and re-install?

Oops, I didn't notice your question was in the Receptor forum; thought you were on a regular PC. I don't know Receptors so had better not offer further advice. However, IIRC on my WinXP box I installed according to directions and still have the same problem you have.
