i was definitely put off by the gui...its just awful...and massive...I prefer guitar suite anyways

just tried the demo of 2, i guess its okay for free, but wow it sounds like somebody put 3 inches of cheese whiz all over my speakers...

1 - demo? FreeAmp is freeware.

maybe you meant Amplitude?

2 - FreeAmp is great.

3 - Cheese whiz is a great product.

Cheese Whiz is fantastic. However, the Cub Foods knock-off of it is disgusting.

I bought a bottle of Sharp Cneddar and was not welcomed to a taste of synthetic cheese, but raw asshoel.

I think FreeAmp 3 is getting pretty close! I PM'd FS a couple weeks ago requesting that he add the new gate and a speaker sim bypass to FA2 if FA3 was still a ways off and he answered that it would be better to just press ahead with FA3 since it was progressing so well.

@Marduchk - either Jason Brian Merrill (or was it Brian Jason Merrill, or Merril Jason Brian...??) has returned with a new screen name, or free amp sims attract the most outrageous ingrates imaginable. It's not worth it for free?? What the f**k does that even mean??? Very insulting to Fretted Synth and to all those who've stated here that they really enjoy FreeAmp! Show some common decency, man!

Yeah, but you've got to remember that this guy is doing this for free, so if you don't like it, at least try to be constructive and help the guy out.

I for one think this is a pretty amazing gift from Fretted Synth, and even if it has limitations, I'm not going to point them out in any way other than saying where I think it needs improvement.

I guess i should say that there is no possible way i could see myself using this project in any of my songs. I see not only a few bad remarks about it, it is not like i am that small of minority.

respect for making it and sure it looks pretty like antress but i just think there is no good sound about it.

are there demos anywhere? Like samples of people playing with it?
