hi....i'm trying to do exactly the same thing, but i can't figure out how to get the audio out into my protools. I know Receptor is receving midi from the midi track in the session in pro tools (7.3)(pc) but i cant' get the audio in..all i get is a loud white noise. I'm using an optical cable out from receptor into the digi oo2.

Also, if i go midi out from my keyboard, to midi "in" in digi oo2, and go midi out from digi oo2 to midi "in" in receptor, can i trigger patches using my keyboard? it's not working now? ..should i check that midi through in receptor?

tritonkorg, did you remember to assign the audio outs to the ADAT cable instead of the audio outs?

i'm using an Adat optical cable now, but Receptor tech told me to use a digital s/dif cable instead. i'm gonna get that today, but i don't think that has anything to do with getting the audio into pro tools. I don't have taht noise any more, because the sample rate and buffer size of Receptor and pro tools are the same now.
As far as the audio outs:
When i click on the "out put" of the master track, it gives me some options. I tried almost all of them but no luck.........there's Adat/analog 1-2 option as well...i checked all from 1 through 16 as well as B1 and B2, but not working at all...Please advise, if you can share your comment. Also, when i hook up my keyboard directly to receptor, i can trigger the patches, but when i put the digi 002 in the middle, receptor doesn't receive any midi info any more.

hey tritonkorg ..

I actually didn't have to do anything with the receptor .. which was also my experience when i first used the adat optical on my MOTU 828mkII at home .. levels were just coming out by default.

What you may need to do tho is in PT7, find what I think is called the input map .. it's where you can map audio ins/outs .. for this project we had to 'enable' the adat ins in this preference setting, and I believe it's a spdif/adat choice, where spdif is set by default, so we had to switch it to adat.

good luck!
