and BTW, is the pedal released, cuz my friend who has lots of money to spend on a foot control is really interested n the thing)?
i addicted him to amplitube 1 and the early plugs and he flipped, using only a laptop onstage into a custom tube power amp drivng full range cabs (15+10+horn, not a bass rig, more some HiFi rig) and he really digs the 5 or 6 expression pedal idea(and the all in one aspect compared to now with DI midi cables 2 behringer foot control soundcard and all

No, the StompIO is not released yet. It is supposed to be released this summer.

If it is everything IKMM sais it is, It will be really something. I am currently using the podXT lIve pedal as my ASIO card and the latency is killing me. The sound in bypass mode is pretty decent though.

Man, I won a free copy because of this thread, but I am still patiently waiting for the darn thing to be released.

This is the first time somebody releases a software specifically targetted at a musician's rig, and let alone Jimmy Hendrixe's rig.

It also has the Jimi Hendrix Authentic certification...do notice however that to me, that doesn't meen much since I see it more as the greedy family of Hendrix looking out for more money. I dont think IKMM could have done it without their blessing though. or they would have gotten their ass sued.

Man, to show how musically clueless the Authentic Hendrix Foundation really is, listen to what the CEO sais : "We're just thrilled about the new pedals that are coming out". Pedals?!!

All these guys care about is the $$$$ regardless of what they sign in Hendrixe's name. I even read somwhere that they sold the Hendrixe's name for an energy drink!!!...Hendrix must be turning in his grave!

I am glad that it is IKMM that is actually producing the software because if I cannot trust one side with the Hendrix name, at least I trust IKMM to produce a high quality emulation of the Hendrix's rig.
