Keyboard Shortcuts...

I've read the manual, and would like to know if I'm the only one that would LOVE a keyboard shortcut to open the MIDI Filter window?
Also, while I'm on the subject, I believe I've found a bug...
I can open an instrument's interface (select Edit View) by pressing F4, great; but once I've done that, neither F2 or HOME function, until/unless I click my cursor on the screen.
Anyone else found this to be the same?

I agree. It appears that the plugin gets all the keystrokes while it's interface is visible. That is as it should be, perhaps?I can open an instrument's interface (select Edit View) by pressing F4, great; but once I've done that, neither F2 or HOME function, until/unless I click my cursor on the screen.
When you click on the screen (I presume that you mean the Receptor "desktop", since that's what I experienced), you're actually giving the Receptor the input focus, i.e. taking it away from the VST, so the keystrokes are seen by the OS.

You have the honor of being the only person i know who is actually using the keybaord short cuts. We put them in to assist visually impaired users (there are quite a few who use Receptor) and I'm really pleased to see someone using them.
It is one of those things that is really easy to do... I'll talk to Mo about it and see if we can slip it into 1.6.
So, you see, we do listen to you all...

Hey - I use them too!
Actually, I sent a document to Keith at Muse a couple of years ago outlining alpha keyboard control of the mixer interface. I was told that my document was helpful during the design discussions. It also included shortcuts for jumping to the volume and pan controls of each channel. e.g. 2 to go to channel 2, V to got to volume, up arrow to adjust, and so on.
That sort of thing is often much faster than a mouse or trackball during one-handed live performances!

I knew I wouldn't be alone on this.
I teach MIDI Music on Macs, at a school here, and I insist my students learn as many keyboard shortcuts as possible, both in Logic Pro and Pro Tools...
I would LOVE more complete access to all aspects of the Receptor GUI!

I'm about to go into an engineering meeting, I'll bring up the subject and see how soon we can get some more shortcuts implemented...
The good thing is that they are pretty easy, VERY easy compared to supporting Komplete 4!!
Cheers
