You can also try placing the dll in the folder where zebracm dll is located and the folder where the exe of your host is located. (One of these should be on the automatic classpath, ie: windows will look for resources in one of these folders by default + a few extra locations specified in the registry (like the system32 folder).
The thing about doing it this way, is that it only affects zebra, so you have no risk of rendering your system unstable (which is always a possibility if you change stuff in the windows system dirs)

installed on a different PC and it worked of course, something specific to my laptop. I already tried placing the dll directly in the ZebraCM directory, to no avail... will try re-naming the ZebraCM.DLL and see if that works, otherwise I'll just goto the "zebra" people for further assistance. thanks for the help and assistance

ah, didnt realize that...
I'll try renaming the DLL tonite. is there anyway to get a LOG file (using savihost and/or VSTHost, or maybe something else) to possibly determine the problem? I dont wanna "pollute" this discussion with my own problem anymore, if it dont work on the laptop then it dont work

And I still don't know how he makes all the stuff that he does. I tried Filterscape last night for the first time with Zebra2 + Transmission.tboulette wrote:Um, Urs IS the "Zebra people". Holy crap. Urs wasn't kidding when he puts in his sig that Zebra loves some filterscapin'. He must spend 1/2 of every registration on espresso or something.
If he ever made a DAW he'd have Ableton and the lot running scared.

I dont have/use cubase, currently just VstHost and SaviHost (which both work with ZebraCM on another PC) and ACID, which I havent tried yet w/ZebraCM.

tboulette, sorry for the late reply. i was kickin the internet for a few days. i was a subscriber to future music and didn't get the last couple issues i bought em from BnN instead. i got a letter from guitar world, another future publishing title (for plank spankers) it said that future music usa edition had ceased publishing the March 07 "Produce a Hip Hop Hit" with the neptunes on the cover i belive is the last one to be published. beware the ides of march eh? its to bad i felt the magazine kind of lacked an identity but loved it anyway. it really is to bad. it kinda speaks about the current state of electronic music in the US huh? (off topic)-> i feel stupid asking this but how do you include the quote of the post you are replying to? the "Gospel Wrote" part...-g
