Everytime I insert a VST effect in the second slot of a rack the sound from the VSTi in the first slot kicks out. The only way I can get the sound back is by pulling the synth and the effect out of the rack and then reinstantiating the synth....but what I can't use an effect??? I did this yesterday and had no problem with it!!

What's going on here.

It sounds like you're plugging something in that is either setting the output volume to zero or doesn't pass audio channels.

No it's something else. It's something to do with what I'm targeting for the part in the rack. I think I've got it now but it's a little complicated when there's 3 VSTs in the rack.

Have you tried the modular plugin area? (Press F3.)
