Choir Boy crash in Ableton Live 6.0.5 and 6.0.7

havent tried previous versions of Live.

Licensed version. seems ok in cubase SX 3.

Happens usually as soon as you move any voice pitch control or at least within the first few movements.
Sometimes with below message first:
Invalid pointer operation.
Then always with similar messages as previously mentioned.
Does not always crash Live - have been testing with out playback though.
When Live crashes you see the following Messages:
The instruction '0x0cc61f0b' referenced memory at '0xbfb5f404'. the memory could not be 'read'.
Then:
runtime error 216 at 0cc61f0b.
Sometimes with below message first:
