Why won't Muse support developers?

The Receptor's success depends critically on having a broad range of plugins running on the Receptor device. Despite this, there is ample evidence that Muse has failed to provide even the most basic support to important 3rd party developers.

Take Image-Line as just one example. Image-Line's software products and plugins are wildly popular. And yet Maxx Claster and Argu, both Image-Line developers, are reporting that Muse will not provide even basic documentation to them for "Receptorizing" their VST plugins. This is totally mystifying - it would cost Muse almost NOTHING to provide this kind of support.

I want Muse to know that PEOPLE ARE WATCHING THIS. I want a Receptor, but I WILL NOT BUY ONE until the very popular and musically useful Image-Line plugins are fully supported on your device. In particular, I will not even consider purchase until Image-Line DirectWave, Poizone, and Juice Pack are fully operational on the Receptor.

THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR YOUR BEHAVIOR, Muse, and you are going to pay for it. However, it's not too late to change and start supporting developers. Why not begin by contacting Maxx Claster and Argu at Image-Line, to see how you can help them? Send them a unit for testing, and instruct them on how to "Receptorize" DirectWave and the others.

The world is waiting, and our wallets will remain closed until you ACT.

Post

I'll have one for testing too ;)

(sorry couldn't resist ;) )

Kind regards
