Organized Trio 3.1

I have downloaded and installed (unsupported) Organized Trio 3.1. It runs and sounds as good as if not better than NI's B4II! However, when you change patches through the Receptor Method, Receptor crashes. There was never a problem with Version 3.0. Has anybody experienced this problem with this version of Organized Trio?

Whooops, I spoke to soon. I just fixed the problem. I opened that plugin in Live 6 and then saved the Bank to my Receptor's Drop Installers Here Folder". Then of course I installed the bank from the Receptor Setup Page. It seems that Version 3.1 will not read Version 3.0 patches in Receptor Format. All is well now. This plugin really sounds great... especially when you use MRDonald as an effect with Orgranized trio. Wow, what a great Leslie sound. Really Phattt!

Of course it is all a matter of taste but I find the bass to be richer than B4 and I also find the Leslie effect to be a bit better. As a matter of fact, I find the drive parameters a bit more robust for my taste. I'm sure that B4 does some things better than Organized Trio Ver 3.1 (OT), but I haven't found them yet.c3boy wrote:So you think it's better than B4, that's a nice compliment Phil, I must go check it out. I tried using both B4 and OT together and they sound great together. Unfortunately using both takes up too much CPU. Please try it and post your findings. Maybe I am missing something here.

I have'nt tried it on Receptor yet, just on PC. It's ok soundwise, but the chorus/vib are not very good compared to B4. Pure drawbar sound is good as is percussion. Nice job, but I won't be using it instead of my B4 2. It's all a matter of taste as you say. Im slightly biased as I'm sat near XK3/122 C3/122 rigs
