Losing patches

Hi all
I've had this thing happen the other day where I turned on my receptor and the latest patches I've installed have disappeared :o
The bank name that they belonged to still remain, but when I click on the bank, there is nothing inside it.
It is happening with the OP-Xpro and I first noticed it when I installed the Bill Whitney bank. The next day, the bank was there but no patches. I recently upgraded to OP-Xpro 1.1 and re-installed the new banks which worked fine for weeks, but now there are no patches in the banks.
However, the original banks and patches from the initial install are still all there.

Any clues?

Cheers

Kim

Talk to Peter, it's probably an OP-X issue, I found a couple minor bugs and he's made some changes. Also Hybernation has helped me with install issues on OP-X from the Receptor side.

THe good new is that the plug should work fine, it's just patch assignment that gets wierd. I have several old installs of the patch library still hanging around in Drop Installers Here/Installed. Check your directory, tyoursare probably there as well/

Hi Kim,

Don't know if you tried this already, but you might wish to reset the plugin-cache. Try to hold the 'multi' button, and hit the 'power' button three times (keep holding the multi through bootup).

When the receptor interface is up, you should still hear the HD churning away. The operation takes about 10 minutes after the Receptor interface is up.

I have had OP-X patches disappear before, and this has helped me restore. You should be careful to only use the set of patches that come with the specific instance of OP-X you installed (try not to use patches from an earlier version). I do not know if backwards compatibility is promised, and things like this could cause a vsti to crash (or some other instability).

Hi guys.
Thanks for replys. I have been in touch with Peter and he suggested the same thing about clearing the cache. I'll go do that now.
When I installed OP-Xpro 1.1, I didn't remove the older version or the patches. Should I do this and if so, how is the best way to do this?

Thanks again :tu:
