Guys, can anyone offer any help. I have recently purchased Komplete 4 from a Komplete 2 upgrade. Komplete 2 actually had the old Kompakt whose sample library I love and wish to use on my receptor. I already have the latest Kontakt installed on my receptor, (as I had Kontakt before) but I just want to be able to get Kontakt to open up the Kompakt library. Muse gives a demo version of Kompakt when you first buy it; Is there anyway of putting in some license code to activate this and get Kontakt to open it?
Many thanks.
Phil

If you explain your situation to NI Sales and BEG them really hard, they will give you an individual license code for Kompakt (at least they did for me). This can be used to authorize the "user installable" Kompakt 1.0.8 on plugorama. Alternatively, you could apply for a "cross-grade license" for the iLok version 1.0.1 (though technically, Komplete2 doesn't qualify you), or you could lay down $99 for the 1.0.1 iLok version on Plugorama.philosorhymes wrote:Guys, can anyone offer any help. Either way, once you have one of these authorized on Receptor, you'll be able to open the Kompakt library in Kontakt2 with no problems.

Thanks Hybernation, where do I apply for the "cross-grade-license"? I actually have Komplete 4 now.
