A sampler which can load samples straight from internet.
A 16 cascaded distortion with individual filters which lets you send the sound back to any given point in the distortion chain to cause severe feedback. Each distortion is slightly delayed (a few millisecs). Do you know how cool this would sound?

- a spectral editor plugin (similar top Adobe Audition's one... and better
)
- a real-time beat detection algoritm, converting audio in signal into midi signal (and even into midi tempo clock to update the host).

You might want to check out KT Drum Trigger for beat detection and conversion into midi data. It doesn't do midi tempo clock reassignment, but it does do beat detection to midi note trigger conversion. I've used it to 'beat box' and trigger drum samples. http://www.koen.smartelectronix.com/KTDrumTrigger/sinkmusic wrote:- a spectral editor plugin (similar top Adobe Audition's one... and better)

The second project is really wanted by many people, including me. It would be fantastic to have such a tool. Generating a tempo map, it could be a top remixing tool.sinkmusic wrote:- a spectral editor plugin (similar top Adobe Audition's one... and better)

You can't always get what you waaaant...

deathstortion is very similar to this what you're saying.

How about a VST mini-host with ReWire that allows you to load a couple of effects into a routing matrix like those used by FM synths (think Sytrus or Rhino). Say a 5x5 matrix (Input, i/o for 4 effects, and Output) with the levels controllable via MIDI cc.
You could get some great Dubby feedback loops going.

Yes, i know this one, thanks (at the moment i am using TObybear Peakfreak), but this require a hell of efx chaining and virtual midi port and gives rather approximative results. It is really a ghetto solution.rockstar_not wrote:You might want to check out KT Drum Trigger for beat detection and conversion into midi data. And if unluckily you don't have a kick drum on each beat, everything is messed up.
A dedicated software would be the real shitez i guess (to me at last).

Isn't what you're asking for just a vocoder?Lagrange wrote:Please, an 'on the fly' live eq cloning effect. Not snapshot eq cloning that is now readily available..

ah ah !stanlea wrote:sinkmusic, if you succeed you're a rich man... except if you keep it for the KVR challenge...
To succeed, i'd first have to try
And i fear i am better at suggesting than coding !

What do you mean "source audio" ? You mean the modulator signal? That doesn't have to bleed through in a vocoder.Lagrange wrote:NO.. When ever I ask for this I get the same response.. You are correct that technically its a Vocoder but I don't want any of the source audio to bleed thru onto the target.. Just the eq representation..
