I thought Zebra could load h2p, aupreset and fxb formats, regardless of the platform, so it seems reasonable to expect ZebraCM to do so as well. Give it a try, anyway...

I finally managed to get my hands on ZebraCM as well, although I ended up going as far as Nottingham, UK to get one
Looks and sounds very good but so far I've only scratched the surface of this beast. Definitely a keeper.

I'm quite a fan of all of Urs' products. The new ZebraCM has just enough differences to make it a fun companion to the full Zebra2....
That said, I've not complained about anything to date, but I finally found one.....
In all plugins I might experience major differences in volume from one patch to another, one is quiet, the next redlining my master outs.... I don't mind all that much, cos I can just tweak the provided "master gain" or "volume" or "output" knob, except....
I consistently have a hard time finding those in these plugins... It took me a good while to find the one in Zebra 2 (I had to ask, and Urs pointed it out for me), labeled "Output" under the FX stack.... it just wasn't intuitive at all to spot that as the "Master Output" level... I thought it was related to FX levels, actually.
I'm having that same problem again in Zebra CM (and MFM2 as well)... where the heck are the "master" gain/output/level knobs? I really need to know, especially with the patch banks that came with Z-CM, as the volumes are all over the map....
Urs, in future, when you're designing your user interfaces, please give us one, obvious master level control? Less experienced/masterful users like myself (who don't know which part of a patch is affecting another's volume) sure do need one!
Thanks!

I am otherwise, as I said at the start, a major fan!

The volume control is right smack in the centre of ZebraCM's UI, underneath and to the right of the display, labelled "Vol".
I know what you mean, many patch programmers don't balance volumes, and it's frustrating. Plus you have the fact that a poly patch you might be playing 10 notes in has to have single notes lower in level than a mono bass or lead, to avoid overloads.
What I usually do when going through random patches is have the channel level under direct control - I leave the settings on the synth alone, and just play with the instrument's channel level when necessary.

I just got a May copy of CM and have had a chance to test out ZebraCM.
Love the sound, what a great synth. And a nice complement to Triple Cheese.
Thanks for both
