1) Ashtray
2) Beer/wine/beverage of choice
(although you need to have a flashy synth stand that will enable you to tilt the Juno back at an angle to avoid spilling of aforesaid beverage of choice all over the keys).
3) Sick Reeces that f**king kill people when sent through guitar pedals.
Can the plugin do that?
I got that one and its quite goodCapnLockheed wrote:All well and good....but where oh where is Flintlock's RS-57??![]()

It looks very nice but very weak sounding. What do you guys think about the BrainSlayer Juno Emu?
That sound came from the alpha juno...loachm wrote:...which of these VSTis can do a convincing "What the..." preset?...
check out the new Vintage Chorus in Orion Platinum, its modelled directly from a real Juno chorus.Tronam wrote:Since the VSTi has no chorus unit, I'll throw up some bass sounds later today from a real 106 to give you an idea of what it's capable of. I would be interested to see what you Flintlock 106 users can come up with in that department. It's really a shame that the Roland chorus units are still such a mystery machine for virtual emulation. I've yet to hear a digital chorus that even comes close. It added to the 106's sound immensely.
They are amazingly close aren't they? It is in fact the other way around - odd bars are the real Juno, even bars are the plug-in. I'll try and do some basses with both and do the comparison again.Muzik 4 Machines wrote:i'd say even are the real, odd are the plug

Well, the MP3 wasn't meant to be taken seriously in its own right for a minute but I'm glad it provided you with some form of entertainment!kritikon wrote:Again, I'm sorry, but that MP3 just made me laugh like crazy. It was awful.(not the playing or the tune etc - the sound.) Who cares which was the real thing...they were both awful.
Well said. I agree the Juno sound isn't exactly awe-inspiring, I love mine to bits but never actually use it on a track. It's a lovely old piece of history that I didn't have to sell a kidney to buy.kritikon wrote:106s are sought after only because they are sought after by someone else.
