Hi Jamie,
I've had this happen on two units (once, I took my Receptor to Muse Research, and it would boot there! ). I had both units PS replaced.
You are probably correct in this being a power issue. You might try to plug your unit directly into a wall socket (it's possible that the switching PS could be confused by a line-conditioning power strip, or some such thing). In any case, you should file a ticket on plugorama.

I've had an issue with unclean power also. I took the Receptor to a live event and couldnt get it to boot, just kept erroring out. Changed it to a new circuit and it was perfect. It wasnt just the receptor, BTW, I took a Behringer V-Amp out to see if IT would work with no problems. Nope. Same problems.
I took the V-Amp to a remote event running off a generator and it was intermittant there too. I had to run straight off the generator with no splits. In fact, a keyboard is the only other device that had problems. Once I ran it through my conditioner, the keyboard worked fine, but I didnt have the juice to drive te V-Amp.
Perhaps that is of help...perhaps not.
