Hi,
Just got Zebra CM and I cannot get it to see all the presets or even load some of them. I thought that there should be some viewable in the presets window at the bottom of the synth's window where you click on "presets" and clickable from the presets window in the middle of the synth.
I am using tracktion2 on a G5 mac. I tried locating the presets folder in the Library/Application Support/u-he folder and within the CM plugins folder in the standard VST location. Any suggestions? Thanks... Also, what is the difference between native, hp2 and hp2 extended preset file formats?

Sorry, there was a little misunderstandiung between CM and me, in that I thought they'd write up a little manual for it...
You can get most the issues out of Zebra's manual, and whenever applicable, replace "Zebra2" with "ZebraCM" - installation incl. presets is here:

Thank You! That helped a lot! I can now browse all my presets from within the ZebraCM browser window. I am still new to this synth and I think it sounds great. I might actually have to get the fuller version. Which would be ??? Is there any info, like a comparison chart, on the differences between versions?

Hmmm. There's simply no comparison. The full Zebra2 exceeds ZebraCM by several hundred percent of flexibility and presets.JerGoertz wrote:I'm interested in a feature comparison, too!

ZebaCM is two cut-down Z2 oscillators (preset geoblend waves only, no fancy waveform drawing, no spectral modes and so on), one filter, a noise source, couple of LFO's and a few effects, mostly in a fixed configuration.
The full version features a modular routing system so you can configure all kinds of synth architectures, four oscillators, four FM oscillators, two comb filters, an arpeggiator, more and more flexible effects, four regular multi-mode filters, two XFM Moog-style filters, four freely assignable envelopes, four freely assignable multistage envelopes, six freely assignable LFOs, four XY pads, a scripting engine - and I've probably forgotten a ton of stuff from memory!
If you want four oscillators with independant envelopes going into six parallel filters, with each filter being modulated by multistage looping envelopes going through a chorus and delay and global filter, with a couple of FM oscillators for bite and a sub-bass sin wave, with some comb madness going on routed through a reverb, delay and chorus and heavy compression - you can do all that (and more) in just one patch.
As you can see, Zebra2 is *significantly* more powerful and flexible than ZebraCM. But don't take my word for it, grab the demo...
