well the thing is that i record alone the record room is close to the computer but not that much so i just need 2 or 5 seconds to sit with the headphones and record my second track for example. Is it not to possible to preset it before ?? i wish that it could be possible

loop record and let it play through the first time, which will give you plenty of time...but you should be able to set up a loop region then move the cursor to a couple measures before your loop to start as well...

no you're not and I do exactly what I said...however I do not have cepro, but I do have auditon from version one which was suppose to be cepro and I'm pretty sure I could do it on that.ygal50 wrote:well i tried but did not succed it s complicated a bit

i've never used cepro so i'm not much help! But I have 2 suggestins. 1) get a cordless mouse, they're pretty handy anyway (enough wires hanging around my desk already). 2) use the transport keys on your keyboard to start/stop the recording, or are you using "real" instruments?

for the keyboard, the cable is not long enough , for the mouse it sounds good, is there a limit for the infra red or cordless whatever thing?
but so there is no a possibility to press the record button and have like 3 seconds of pause?

I wouldn't get IR, needs clear line of sight to work. The range is around 6ft for the RF cordless mice/keyboards. If you're interested just google "rf mouse". Or get a cable extender, much cheaper. Hopefully someone will tell you how to set up the preroll though.
