It will help if you tell us what host you're using? I have no problems in configuring multi-outs in Logic 7, Cubase SX and PT7HD.

My mistake, just noticed which forum we're in. I don't have one of those Receptor thingies.

Here ya go Boomboyz!
Instantiate Superior drummer...The first Superior window you will see will have a settings button. Click it!.... Un-check the stereo mix down button. Now, un instantiate Superior. Open the plugin selector window. down at the bottom right. Check the "assignable plugin outputs" button. now re-instantiate Superior. as soon as you click on Superior this time, you should see all the outputs ...

Thanks for that, digitalelements. I was rather hoping that I could load up an entire kit and then route the separate outputs accordingly. Am I right in assuming that this way I have to load in individual drum sounds to each BFD instanciated on its respective output?

Hey Boom,
Just want to confirm we're talking DFH right?
BFD is a bit different for it's multi outs.
you can certainly load an entire kit at once in "multi channel out mode" in DFH. Is your Receptor a Receptor AM or a regular Receptor?

I've discovered how to do it. I'd been mistakenly assuming that I had to load all the relevant channels individually when all you have to do is load the "all outputs" one. That does, indeed, load all the outputs into separate mixer channels and is just what I was after. It works very nicely - just happened to be the last one on the list........

the video is completely clear and that part works fine.
i guess now i just have to figure out how to assign the outputs in sonar thru the uniwire. i can get one output fine, just not the others. i assume it's just something simple i'm missing.
