I use Receptor together with a Axon 100 MKII (guitar2midi converter), so playing and controlling certain CC in realtime at the same time is a job for my midifootcontrollers.
Now to my question,
Is it possible to reverse how (for example) the CC7 is sent? I mean, usually when the expression pedal is up then it means the volume (CC7) is at 0 and when the pedal is down then the volume is at 127. What i want to do is to reverse this, so that the volume is at 127 when the pedal is up, meaning i wont need to press the pedal each time i change a patch, and this will give me the control i need when i play live.
Generally midifootcontrollers dont have such features so these features are left onto the multieffects and devices meant to be controlled by them. Unfortunately not many VSTi synths have advanced midifeatures, especially tailored for midicontrollers.
Frankly i hope Muse will add some more advanced CC features, in general much more advanced midi functions.
