I didn't have the latest beta installed and the code didn't work. After having installed the latest i could successfully enter the code.:dog:
It works without problems in Live.

Thanks again!

Although I'm in line for Devine Machine's Krishna, pour example quand il y a un VSTi released :P I can see that my next sizeable purchase is going to be Filterscape. The quality of U-he stuff is just in a class of its own. Not to mention how excellent the customer response has proven to be...

I must admit, I haven't played with MFM much, so I'm just starting to get into it.

Lots of nice stuff in there though - I like the soft clip and phaser on the feedbacks, and I like how you can get mad feedback but still keep it under control. Very cool. 8)

One question - is it possible for any of the delay buffers to be read out backwards, for reverse audio type effects? (I know you can do volume swells and so on with the LFO's or MSEG's, but that's forward audio with some backwards-ey characteristics, which is different).

It would be really cool to have some direction options, as there's something kinda magical about backwards audio - the ear recognises the audio signature, but it sounds strange and odd in a pleasing way...

I'm just about to use it with 'Harptime'....very interesting results, when i draw my own curves for the lfos like in Zebra 2 and CM.

:hyper: wow! That was great! Did you use multiple MFMs or did you just use it on the master mix? Seriously, that was good stuff, makes me wish for the full song (whatever that may become).

I had an MFM on each of two busses, very slightly panned apart. One was a slightly modifed big reverb preset, the other one was a modified more traditional delay (with lots of feedback, to get the chugging arpeggiated effect).

The main synth part was sent to both of those in varying amounts, and then some of the other parts like drums and other stuff were also sent for some MFM on the second bus.

Not really a song, just a twenty minute doodle... :)

Hello Urs,

this morning I did some more test with this FM7 + MFM2 crash.
It seems as if the crash occurs when choosing this particular preset: "Moving Reverb"
I played about 15 minutes with the presets placed at the first level in the MFM2 preset folder.
These are the presets coming with MFM2 plus one I made:
Big Reverb, Drumloopeggio, Freaks, Initialize, Moving Reverb, Off Delay, Quad Flanger, Simple Chorus, warm panning ambience, Washed Chorus (and one custom preset I made)
I could change between all presets (except Moving Reverb), change some parameters, change presets again ... and everything was fine.
After selecting "Moving Reverb" the noise I already desribed occurred and Cubase crashed.
I hope this helps.

Best regards

PS
Using MFM2 as Insert or as Send leads to the same results

Perfect report, teacue! I'll check that out! :)

Urs,

not to be greedy but you mentioned that there might be an additional u-he loyalty discount for customers who own some/all of your other products. Any word on that?

I have decided to maybe do this on new plugins, but not on updates of existing stuff... for instance, when the compressor comes out, I'd send a voucher to those who already have 2+ plugs...

What I already do is keeping the upgrade costs low, so that existing customers don't need to be scared of being ripped off with each and every update. Even the adddition of new plugin formats such as RTAS will be free...

I had similar problems with FM 8 this morning in Live 6.07; the same preset-folder with 5 mello-patches added: there was no listenable output and the cpu went up to 60% with every preset. I used MFM only as an insert.
