cubase 4 - vstpreset conversion

Hi
Has anyone converted any presets to the new cubase 4 vstpreset format?
Or is there a way to export presets to fxp format in a batch to make conversion practical?

I havn't done it yet, but I really like the preset management built into Zebra 2. Some of my other synths don't have very good preset management so I've been slowly starting to with those, once I get used to it I'm sure it'll be really nice to use...

There's a trick that I havn't documented... mostly because I always forget the right keys to hold...

If you command-click (MacOSX) or ctrl-click (Windows)the save button, it saves the current preset over without any dialog for the filename. If you then also hold shift or alt, you can either switch to the next or previous preset in the same action. So, you can convert a whiole directory either upwards from the end or downwards from the beginning, depending on the key combination and the alphabetical order of the file ending (fxp is before h2p, so you probably go down). Just by repeatedly clicking the save button.

Thing is, I know it's there, but whenever I have to batch-process preset directories, I have to think about it again and test several times

Urs - thanks for the tip - I have now converted all patches to fxp (finger aches after that) - but noe i gind zebra does not support fxb so it will still be a one at a time operation - oh well
