DK+ Drums thinks page 3 is the first page of a pattern?

It is starting on page 3 of pattern A, B or any pattern. Maybe it is because I'm trying to turn on a pattern (and page 1) a few counts into the song. It should start on page 1, but it treats page 3 like page 1.
If I reduce the pattern A down to a 1 page pattern, yes it does only loop page 1. That's normal.
I have the midi file setup to send Channel 16 commands to start the song by first turning the sequencer off. A few counts in, it turns it on and it makes pattern A start. That all works, except page 3 is where it starts in a 5 page pattern. It's looping around playing page 1 after it plays 3, 4 and 5. So the order is 3,4, 5, 1, 2 and loop, but it's supposed to be 12345 and loop.
I also tried turning patterns ON right at the beginning of the song, using pattern X page 1 and 2 to cover 8 counts then switch to A. When it switches to A, still pattern 3 is the one it plays first.
How do I fix it?

Hi,
I think I understand your issue, but I also think that is not a bug in DK+, the step sequencer may require some tricky programming in some cases,
may you please send me the MIDI file of the track on channel 16 that you use to switch the step sequencer and the DK+ patterns? to nusofting[AT]liqihsynth.com
so I could try the tricks for you
(to save the patterns right click on the patterns buttons A, B, ..)

Thanks Luisi. I also think it's not really a bug. I think it's something about the host application and the way it synchronizes. I haven't found settings in the host to break it free from making DK+ think page 3 is the first page in this situation.
In the channel 16 file I sent you, I just made it start by turning the sequencer ON. It skips the OFF step I talked about earlier. It still does the same thing with starting on pattern A, page 3.

If it has not been changed by liqih DK+ works by taking the absolute song position, no matter where or when you turn on the step sequencer.
If you pattern is 4 measures long, DK+ will always play the 3rd page of the pattern at the 6th measure of the song (e.g. 4 + 2 measures).
You can work around this issue by swapping pages. In other words start your pattern with the 3rd and 4th measures, and end it with the 1st and the second, so it will play them in the correct order.
You can also shift the whole song 2 measures ahead.

exactly, thanks Aldo, I was about to suggest to shift 2 measures the whole song, by looking at the MIDI files jdavidb sent me, this seems the simpler solution,
jdavidb please try those suggestions and let me know, thanks,

ok that's cool. I'll work with it like that. I knew that was possible, it just seemed weird. But that'll do :]
