It seems that there's a bug when multiprocessor support is active in Cubase, that causes the distortion I described in the topic above when you use more than one instance of Oatmeal. It should be the same in other hosts that support multicore. I wish the developer reads this and finds a solution.

Hi i'm new here, and the Oatmeal seems to be awesome but i have a problem, i downloaded it but i can't open it (i donwloaded every version from different sites), I cant find the .exe file... all I can see in the main directory are the files "oatmeal.dll" and "oatmealprs.dat" and they won't open.
CAN YOU HELP ME? Btw im using Windows 2000.

You just put the folder into your plug-in directory and your host will recognize it automatically.
When it is a .dll, there's no need to install it. Quite simple.
Less Installers MORE DLL's!!

BTW, ytsename, also copy the prs.dat into the same folder or in one called presets (along with all other presets for this and other synths). It may eventually become useful to you to identify synth presets by putting them in folders named 'x synth banks' etc cos I'm pretty sure you'll end up with manymanymany different banks.
And welcome to KVR.

Hi
I have upload a bank for Oatmeal. It contain 57 Sounds: Atmos, Pads, FX and so on.
This is my fist bank with created patches by myself. I would like to hear your opinion.

Some interesting sounds in there. I liked some of the sound effects and the pads most.storyboard wrote:This is my fist bank with created patches by myself. I would like to hear your opinion.

Someone update the all-in-one bundle!
Great presets BTW, core. emdot, and storyboard.

I think I'm going to go through all the skins and find out which ones don't work with the latest build. Then I might list them in a seperate section on the first page, because I keep trying to load diff ones only to find certain ones don't have 'x' function or 'y' function, know what I mean? Just to try and keep it all neat.MaliceX wrote:Someone update the all-in-one bundle!
I'll do this later today.
(Although anybody who's been grabbing banks and stuff as they appear, like me, will already have the full set anyway.

That said, I've just done a quick whizz-through of all the skins in my folder (all on first page) and they do actually all fit the current version, 37.4.
I've been trying to load them onto an older version, which I've now deleted from my vsti folder.
