Hello to everybody,
my name is Libero Mureddu and I'm new to this forum. First of all thanks a lot for this amazing software, really light and powerful!
I've searched in the forum but I couldn't find an answer to my problem:
in every native instruments vst plugin loaded, the first mouse button (the on on the left) is disabled, when I try to edit the plugin from its interface, while the second and the third button work correctly. When I run the same instrument as a stand-alone app, it works correctly.
Unfortunately, many controls don't have any keyboard equivalent and so the plugins are unusable.
I'm using mac 10.4.9 - luna pre-release 8.4 - native instruments komplete last version.
Thanks for your help and best regards,
Libero Mureddu

Can someone confirm this?

I tried with other plugins and they work.muzycian wrote:Can someone confirm this?
But I just checked with another computer that runs an earlier version of reaktor (4, while I'm currently using the last update, 4.1.2) and luna prerelease 8b (instead of 8.4) and it works perfectly. Unfortunately I cannot update reaktor on this machine, but I could install the last version of Luna and it works, so it seems to be a native instruments issue.
I'll try to investigate also from the native instruments help.
Any hint is appreciated, anyway.
Regards,
Libero

If it can help, I just checked the plugins with ugly vst and kil 2.2 (free vst hosts) and they all work. So maybe the problem is a luna related one with the updated komplete package.

libero, i'll dig deeper into this as soon as possible, but that may take a couple of weeks though.
Please already give me the exact version number of e.g. the Pro53 tht comes in the Komplete bundle.

in the meanwhile, it would be nice to have an older version of luna to continue my work (prerelease 8b was working on the other machine, and so maybe also on the one with the komplete stuff). Is it possible to get an older version of luna? Unfortunately I don't have the installer anymore .
Now komplete version:
Elektric Piano: 1.5.0.009
GuitarRig 2: 2.2.1.006
Kontakt 2: 2.2.1.010
Battery 3: 3.0.2.006
Akoustik Piano: 1.1.2.001
Pro 53: 3.0.4.002
B4 II: 2.0.3.009
FM8: 1.0.1.002
Vokator: 1.2.0.012
Spektral Delay: 1.6.0.011
Reaktor 5: 5.1.2.009
Absynth 4: 4.0.1.007
Thanks and best regards,

First of all, i guess you're talking about LUNA FREE, right?
At first, i can't find a difference between PR 8b and PR 8.4 that could explain this.
Anyway, here is a link to Luna Free PR 8b for OSX:
http://www.mutools.com/luna/luna-free-pr8b-osx.zip
Note however that sessions made in pr 8.4 may not be loadable in 8b, i'm not sure about this at the moment.
Of course, sessions made in 8b can be openened in 8.4.

Yes, I was talking about luna free and actually the behavior is the same in both versions, so it still doesn't work, unfortunately.
Thanks anyway and

I installed the FM 8 demo, version 1.01.002
Plugged it into LUNA Free PR8.4, all on OSX of course.
Everything running fine.
That is on OSX 10.4.6.
Just also upgraded to 10.4.10.
Everything also running fine.
So it's difficult to locate the problem.
Can anyone else confirm having a mouse-click problem with NI stuff in LUNA on OSX.

Maybe I've found something interesting, check this link:

this is exactly the problem that have.
Of course it doesn't explain why the demo works...

Sorry but which demo you mean?Of course it doesn't explain why the demo works...
Ah, maybe you mean the FM8 demo, which i also tried?
Did you try the NI demo version(s) too?
And do they work on your system?

No, I was referring to the demo that you tried. I'm in the middle of a composition project, I'm using an academy laptop and I don't want to risk messing up things installing a demo. If something happens, I won't be able to reinstall the software myself because of the registration numbers etc.muzycian wrote:Interesting!libero wrote:Maybe I've found something interesting, check this link:

It all has most probably to do with the VST 2.3 -> 2.4 transition.
If your NI plugs are from before or around that time, please try updating them.
