Stability of Receptor as a live guitar rig?

If so, how do you like it?

I would love to have my live rig be vst-based via something like Revalver MKII and a whole bunch of other plugs, but I don't want to go with a Windows rack mount PC due to the BSOD's that I sometimes get on my project studio PC.

I am new to Receptor and just found out via the Muse site that the OS is Linux-based, which is known to be more mission critical than any Windows box known to man. However, it doesn't mean that OS crashes can't occur.

Could anyone who uses this as primarily a guitar rig offer any sort of input in this vein? Come to think of it, the whole crash thing probably wouldn't just be guitar-specific since the same hardware unit runs other plugs, too.

Because, I mean, when it comes down to it, you'd want a rig that has as much uptime as a hardware guitar amp.

Thank you for any thoughts or input,

- Paul
