I haven't updated to 1.6 yet, I need to know more about multi banks and patches management.
I tried to understand how snapshot banks works, and I think I can't use this feature for my needs. Here's why:
1) My master keyboard can't send bank select messages; simple patch change only.
2) Sometimes I create layers within receptor, setting two or more plugins on the same midi channel (useful to save precious zones on master keyboard). In this case I couldn't send different program changes to various layered plugs.
3) For live gigs I usually create a patch for every song i will play, then I program last zone on my master (it has 8 zones) to switch between patches using a simple program change. As said before, can't use bank select but even if I could use it I would need a program change message to switch snapshot then, ONLY AFTER THAT, I would need to send other program change messages to every active plugin I will use in the next song.
Am I missing something?
Maybe I'm just a troll who doesn't know enough about midi...
