I have a Receptor Rev B with 2gb RAM and recently installed Guitar Rig 2. After installing it, the plug-in worked but there was a "hum" in the background. A day later, I tried to turn the Receptor on and it won't let me in. The monitor flashed 16 times and then it goes right to the Muse logo screen. The Receptor shows that it's loading but it just stays in that mode. I tried to get into it via crossover but my laptop can't read it as well.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Was the 'hum' an audible hum from the unit yourself, or in the soundpath (eg, in the headphone/speakers)? Not sure how this would happen via a GR2 install ....
Did you just recently install OS 1.6? many people are reporting a long-startup time after this install, due to an fsck check - perhaps this is what is going on?

The hum was in the soundpath as if there was too much Gain somewhere. I tried to adjust it but the best I could do was only minimize it.
I haven't installed 1.6. This is the first time this has ever happended. Startups were never a problem, although it would occasionally fail to boot.
Before I installed Guitar Rig2 I was using the Receptor strictly for BFD.
