Hi,

I'm looking for the old, pre-DXi versions of the BlueCat DX plugins. I have installed the new versions and used the DXi manager to disable the MIDI control, and they show up in my host (Acid Pro) with the same names as the old versions, but old projects that use the plugins still report errors on loading.

Thanks,
n2a

Hi,

you might indeed have some issues loading old projects with the new versions. Because of he major changes we made we decided that the new versions would not replace the previous ones but would be brand new plugins instead.

Can you tell me which plugins you are looking for (and if possible which versions) so that I can have a look and check if we can provide them to you?

Here's the list of Blue Cat plugins missing (as copied from Acid Pro's error message):

The FX plug-in "Blue Cat Stereo Flanger" on track #8 was not found or did not load properly.
The FX plug-in "Blue Cat Stereo Chorus" on track #10 was not found or did not load properly.
The FX plug-in "Blue Cat Phaser (Mono)" on track #13 was not found or did not load properly.

They were all from the free DX pack, with the old colorful skins.

Hi,

you can find these old versions at the following location:

Please tell me when you have them so that the server can be cleaned. Note that if you have time, I advise you to migrate your projects to the new versions.

Thank you very much! I was able to download the plugins and get to my old projects. I do intend to migrate to the latest versions of plugins if possible. These are older projects that I wanted to remix and remaster, so finally being able to do so without having to guess at what settings I was using is very good news.

You are welcome. It's always tough to find the right settings so I can understand your need! :)
