actually now I'm really having fun...I have managed to get the same effect from both my PODxt live and my my boogie through my dead box...here's a clip, there is 20 seconds each of this sim, the pod and my boogie...can you tell which is which? (please excuse the mixand the playing, I did it very quickly)...

Yeah, that's really weird, considering Hink was demoing a "non-" (-sounding, -existing, -crashing, - CPUtaxing, -sucking, -ruling) amp sim.shogger wrote: the soundclick thingy doesn't work here, I hear nothing though it seems to play.

I think the first one sounds more authentically silent, Hink.
But it may be just my monitors, bccause they're all pretty close.
You used a lot of gain reduction on the compressor settings, didn't you?
