yeah, it is indeed - it sounds exactly like an old TwinReverb does before you switch it on...
actually I discovered that the standby switch is the best noise gate I've ever seen...and here I thought all these years the standby switch was there to tell all guitarists in the audience you have a tube amp,,,

just for the record: I meant the main power-switch, not the standby-switch... ;-) :hihi:

yeah but for my test I used the standby to ensure proper burn in for the tubes

One day this thread will be all grown up and move out of KVR. Maybe go to college.

I'm sure we'll miss it terribly....

I am afraid not. Rene has stopped answering my last PM.

Since then I gave up hope the product will ever leave the current phase.

(Is that vague enough, to not be telling secrets?)
(And is it clear enough to hint you of what could have been?)

the truth my friend is people have been waiting for this for three years...who knows, it might be worth the wait...but the reality right now is we have no way of knowing either way...I'd gladly eat crow and admit I was wrong, but if it takes three years and still nothing skepticism is going to grow...that's life in the fast lane...I try not to make promises I can't keep, I'm very leary of those who do

dunno what you're hinting at but Midiworks still posted nine days ago here at KVR so I assume he's safe and sound.

Sounds like Rene wanted to pull the plug on the project and MrM tried to talk him into a release anyway, followed by radio silence...

Well, we still have this thread that just won't die :hihi:
