Hi Jo

With a composition, you can set the time sig (or beats per bar) for the whole composition.

I sometimes work with music that goes through several time sig changes.
Usually, I use some notation software to enter my music, then export to midi when I'm done and load that midi file into Luna.
Apart from breaking the file into separate compositions, is there any way of a)setting multiple time sigs within a piece and b)having more control over the time sig (I'm talking about being able to enter an actual time sig such as 6/8 or 12/32 etc) This is essentially to get finer control of the grid and positional markers etc, so that I can then follow a score while I'm working

Cheers...

Multiple time signatures is an an important feature! please consider it...

In case you do decide to implement time signatures more completely, a detail which is sometimes ill understood is the difference between 3/4 and 6/8 time signatures - there are the same number of eigth notes in each, but in 3/4 they are grouped into 3 quarter-note beats and in 6/8 they are grouped into two dotted quarter beats, each with three eigths. The tempo for a 6/8 bar is usually given in dotted quarters per minute eg. dotted quarter = 60. Likewise 12/8 has 4 beats.
