Hi, hoping somebody might be able to help me here.
I'm working on a cowbell sound as part of my ongoing bit of self-education. Other than (I suppose) using a tun file, is there any simple way to play the same pitch regardless of the key pressed? Even if I modulate the Tune parameter of the OSCs with Keyfollow set to -48, the pitch still moves a bit.
Thanks!

Hey, in the Oscillator's "Phase" tab, there's a parameter called "Key Scale":

If you set it to zero, the oscillator is centered at Midi Note 64, which is the middle e. I think. Try it!

You can make any noise source fixed at a certain tuning by setting the KeyScale knob to 0.00. Check out the Bassdrum patch in Peter_Bank. This works on FM and Combs as well.tboulette wrote:Hi, hoping somebody might be able to help me here.

There's also a cowbell patch done by Unempty in Unempty's Oddities. It's under Perc/DL Cowbell (More).h2p.

Thanks, gents! I must be going blind in my old age, although in my defense I don't think it's mentioned in the manual:
