Will we be getting individual Receptorized installers for All current gen. Native Instruments products?
OR--will the current scheme of Send us Your Receptor + $200.00 and we'll make it work for You be the continued mode of operation.
Just curious...
And I have to say I'm a little dismayed at the "professionals" here that cant be bothered w/ standing up against this, and are far too quick to just toss their money at Muse just because they ask them to.
It sets up a bad precident. One that not everyone here can afford, even though they deserve to.
Rant off for now.

I opened a ticket to ask about an Absynth 4 installer. Unfortunately there is no timeline for it at this point.

Being a new owner of receptor i've had my share of probs with it and every time i had quick responses each time i've created a support ticket...
I really hope that the ppl at muse are having their vacations right now (it IS July) and thus the reason for the silence otherwise it would be quite worrying if they just choose not to respond to the NI K4 questions ppl here are having...

I think all installer questions are being given low priority because the goal is to eliminate the need for custom installers (also having NI change their authorization scheme has caused some concerns as well, I'm sure...)
The principal is to allow regular Windoze installers to work as is on the unit, so trying to fix individual apps is not a priority, or even a need. It's a PITA,, true, but in the end will be well worth the wait.
I just hope they get Arturia working, they've just released the all-in-one everything 'V' pack, but they all use Synchrosoft dongles - yet another piece of the installer puzzle...

Here is an announcement by the Muse Research CEO, which I think answers your question:
1. Sending the Receptor back to Muse for K4 install is a temporary solution, and not a profit center
2. Muse is rolling User K4 installation into their next OS update, with no promise of when that will be released

What if we don't want all of K4, but would just like to run, say, Reaktor? Can we install and authorize just that one VST?
