I agree and have you asked me a day ago i would have said it couldnt be done

, If i had to eat my hat each time i thought something couldnt be done on Zebra i would prolly have to stop shopping for a week or so.

Now i need a Kick for that kit..yikes ohh well back to knobs..

K end of the road for that little snare-tom-kick kit. The kick didnt come out as i wanted but the one i did settle for is organic and wet with some skin attitude and great for dubs. Perhaps i can get the actual punch in it too but right now i cant see how without adding more modules. Anyway it goes to the pile of 'need to look at again stuff'

Weather forecast said up to 30 celcius tomorrow but ill believe them when i see it. Funny enough those guys are the only ones who can get away with telling you it will be sunshine tomorrow and if the sky is filled with clouds the next day they dont get fired. ???

Ohh well couldnt sleep so i added Congas, Timpani and Timbales. The timbales are not there yet but i put them in for flavour.

Regarding boundaries, well i'm overly thrilled too, to me its was like discovering an island in the middle of the ocean

Today, i worked on some choir like things but its damn hard because i want it to be using 1 osc only so you quickly can add it to another patch using import osc settings. Anyway, more on that later...

This morning i sat down and played with a nice patch which shows just how much a good controller and careful programmed velocity means. The demo is called contrast because it really goes to the exstreme in velocity settings.

I've been really enjoying your daily experiments with Z2. At the very least it shows me how powerful it is and how good of a musician you are as well.

Is it wrong to hope for more rain because that means you'll finish Oldskool Vol 2 that much sooner?

Oh and I assume you're using your new Novation ReMOTE SL 61? I was wondering how the aftertouch feels like on that. My M-Audio Axiom I have to push pretty hard to get aftertouch to start, regardless of velocity setting. Does it come in smoother with the Novation? Guess I need to go to a guitar center to try one out...

I really think more people should get into posting examples of what they are playing, regardless of quality, skills and whatever. Its a known fact theres ALWAYS a person for a certain sound, i learned that lesson from Howard when i commented on a sound being to thin (in my ears) and Howard promptly told me that the sound was already being using in some music.

Anyways

Its ok to wish for bad weather, but you dont need to since we got a real bad summer in Denmark so far.

Regarding my NEW Novation, well... its not here yet so i'm still stuck with the 37 key version. From my point of view the Novation is ultra smooth on aftertouch but i can only compare with CME UF7 and cheaper keyboards. Its not that Novation ReMOTE SL is smooth its also a breeze to play, almost like fingers are tapping on air compared to many other controllers.

K, and today something popped up which i'm pretty sure many been looking for, and what can that be ?

Your drum right they will be there

Today is about bells, a thing which requires patience because when making bells you need to consentrate on the first 16 harmonics and its PRETTY hard to adjust those levels by hand since you cant ZOOM in on the damn thing. Anyway, with some luck i mannaged to come up with the following bell waveforms: sine, toybox, organ, vibrafon, DX ,tubular, bicycle and more... 16 in all fitted into one OSC as a wavetable. Each of these waveforms are ment to be used seperate but in this case i made a demo where i used aftertouch to cycle thru the waveforms.

These bells are the subtle kinda bell waveforms, loved to figure out some real gongs etc..
