and on topic, they really jam packed this one with features, with 3 separate delay cicuits(one per head), up to 6 sec delay(head 3), exp pedal control, the warp (more feedback and level and then shortens delay time to rise the pitch) and all modes(1, 2, 3, 1-2, 1-3, 1-2-3)
tap tempo is nice to have on hand(foot) and reverb is never too much to have at the end of a chain

I was amazed to find the V-Synth has a COSM modelled versions of the Space Echo and Space Chorus in it's effects section (along with 30 odd other fx and processors). I've been using it as an fx unit as well as a synth.

Agreed, they've failed me more often than not in the past 20 years.

Re: Orange Tiny Terror, have you played it yet? I tried one for 15 minutes the other day, it seemed to pull a really good JCM800/900 tone at the 7W setting from what I could tell. The clean tone was awful but the same goes with the Marshall's. Did you find the same results or do I need to give it another try?

I'm really not optimistic about how this is going to sound. The cosm space echo doesn't have much in common (sonically) with the original. Nor, for that matter, does the roland authorised UAD plugin. So I don't think they're hearing what us space echo fans are hearing. Still, hope springs eternal that this time things might be different.

If not, the eventide timefactor should be released soon...

I take back the first post.

My fingers are crossed to, and I know better as you do being a previous RE-201 owner.

Man, they gotta figure that shit out sooner or later, right?

It doesn't have to be a 100% dead-on emulation. I'd be very happy if it bears the same relation to the re201 that minimonsta does to the minimoog, say. Otoh, I'm certainly not interested in yet another digital delay with a bit of saturation and filtering in the feedback path. The sound of tape requires a little more effort than that.

Fwiw, the reviews on harmony-central are good so far...

You know, for the size of this pedal, what's stopping them from sticking a scaled down spring inside it and using that as a reverb?

I've been drooling for that Tiny Terror since I first saw it. I've heard some amazing clips made using it, too. Delicious tone. Warm and sustained and totally controllable and I want one. Only thing is that I can't really use it. Most of my music making goes on after bed time. I need things I can plug into my computer.

My guess is cost. It's cheaper to mass produce all-digital innards.

The Hughes & Kettner Replex sounds excellent, I prefer it over my Space Echo's for that Eric Johnson Echoplex thing.

Ok, so I've been checking out net demos (dunno when the pedal is coming to my neck of the woods) and so far so meh, until this one:

there's a bit in the middle where he adjusts the settings that definitely shows potential. I've still haven't heard a demo that shows the classic saturated sound, though...
