MFM2 Version

Insofar as I know, Urs doesn't have any sort of auto-update or notification system.
The only MFM versions I know of are:
* Several (expired) public betas
* The first official release
* Whatever is on Urs' computer
So, if you have the 'first official release' you're pretty much guaranteed to be up to date.
Otherwise, checking the forums (right here at KVR) from time-to-time and Urs' website is a fair way to do it.
2 cents.

Sorry, there's no first official release...
The visual differences between versions have been pretty minimal - except for minor bugfixes. Most updates were mainly about extending the beta phase -> shifting the demo mode back to May
The current version comes as a download starting with MFM2PB3 if that helps...
The next version contains pretty much the final feature set (added filters in matrix effect, compressors), but I can't promise that RTAS support will be finished.
Cheers,
Urs
P.S.: A newsletter will be sent once the final version is finished...

Hehehe, that's why it's called pre-order...codef0x wrote:I thought when you started selling it that counted as first release. Semantics.

Thanks - I have MFM2PB3, I just wasn't sure anything had been released since then. Plus, I was fishing (a little) for any hints when the final release would be ready.

Still sorting out some issues... at least the major improvements (see thread about this) have to be in there and the MSEG bug must be fixed.andreas-1 wrote:is there a timline for the mfm2?
when will the release be?
Oh... a manual is in the works now and pretty far as I hear...
I also think that a preset description facility has to be in there... some sort of means to describe how a patch is meant to be used...
Other than that... you can already use it as it is...

That's a very clever idea, even necessary IMO in many case when the presets are a bit complex, always good to know in which sonic context they've been born, i strongly agreeOur Lord Urs wrote: a preset description facility has to be in there... some sort of means to describe how a patch is meant to be used...
