How to use Mashup and Breakdown in SONAR?

The internal sequencer in these plugs doesn't seem to run in SONAR 6.2.1...or am I supposed to "start" it somehow?

they should start when the play-head is started, either for playback or recording.. but i know the VST Adapter has had problems in the past with play/record triggering to VST plugins.
