Who likes the feel of the chunky feel of the M Audio Axiom? I think they are a little two twide, I also think the E MU Xboard feels better. Your opinion?

Post

Axiom keys are semi-weighted, they're designed to be a middleground between keyboard and piano keys. If you're used to a piano, but want to take advantage of light keys, that's what it's for. I think it's also better for accuracy for strike velocity, but I could be wrong.

Emu Xboard is semi-weighted too. But it feels better than Axiom.

Exactly gassle. The Xboard is semi-weighted, and they feel better. I tried it out in the store and though "QUICKSAND!!!". My Xboard 61 should be here tomorrow.

i just have an axiom and a simple yamaha keyboard and i don't think there is a differenc at all, feels just like a keyboard

Hey do you axiom-users have the same crappy keystroke like i have on my axiom 61? It's weird because when i play the keys after a break of one or two hours they feel like they were glued to something. After pressing them once or twice that feeling has gone but then again after some time the glue-like keystroke comes back again? Do you know what i am talking about?

Please help what to do?

my ensoniq asr-10 keyboard feels better than my axiom 61, but i can play like a god on both ;) i'm pleased by the quality of the keyboard of the axiom (300 €, that's ok for that).

The Axiom really isn't for fast keyboard players who like doing cool shit!
