Been dicking around with my Rev C Receptor, trying to get Elektrik Piano 1.5 working. Almost got there. I need to reinstall it but can't until I uninstall the non-working version. But it doesn't appear on the Uninstall list. I was thinking about just formatting the drive and starting afresh with everything. Has anyone done this before??

Check the package install list under c:\Reports, you might find the EP rpm listed there. Then you'll need to log in and uninstall it with the command line. I wouldn't recommend reformatting the hard disk.

go and delete the folder that "YOU" installed and delete the entry in the REGistry, ONLY the Electric Piano KEY on the left side.

the Windows style of REFORMATING does NOT work on Receptor.
You will kill your machine if you do so, and theres NO resore

How to uninstall the plugin package from SSH:
First you'll have to get root access to receptor, visit oGG's Receptor's FAQ: http://ogg.kicks-ass.net/receptor/
Find the stubborn plugin package at \\receptor harddrive\Reports\Package List.txt
SSH to receptor and type:
RPM -e --nodeps <packagename> (something like NONAME.i386.rpm)
