The automation does something wrong at start up so i had to make 2 recordings and paste the wet signal after the initial dry setting or perhaps im just tired heh heh

Hi. How about after you pay for the patches and download them. You inform folks about how to install them??? JON And also tell about what the heck is in the folder. I see lots of stuff but don't have a clue what it is.

If I remember correctly, open the zip file the should be a txt file in there with instructions on where to put the files...

Sorry, next time we'll add some additional info...

They just go into the Zebra2 presets folder. After extracting the .zip (keeping directory structure preserved) you should have a directory called "Michael Kastrup". This directory just goes here:

Win: C:\Program Files\u-he\Presets\Zebra2\

Mac: MacHD/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/Zebra2/

Cheers,

;) Urs

Ah, yes, the Midi files... they were requested in this thread... and so Michael just put them in... sure, you can just delete them. Some poeple might find them useful to see how certain patches were meant to be played though...

Hi. Thanks again Urs. And also THX to Micheal for the patch work. JON

Glad it worked out Jon :)

K, after a slight detour into the 90's we are taking a leap back to the late synth 70's with this:

Its a bit muddy but thats because i dont allow myself to additional EQ on each track. It's just straigth out of Zebra with some limiter and slight EQ to the mix.

Remember the days where fairly long haired guys would sit and perform knob twisting while psychedelic colours was on display. I'll save you from the sounds of the Space 1999 serie with Moonbase Alpha and take a little leap forward.

Now this kind of music hmmm lets say sound needs full attention with no noisy surroundings.

K, heres what i did.

I took a patch (Called Organism) i was about to finish up and thought, hey how bout taking a trip wayyyy back to that kinda performance. So i assigned some bits to aftertouch, modwheel and to 3 XY controllers, and then it was performance time lol. I hit the record button and this is what came out in that first take.

This hmmm sound presentation takes 7 mins or so and is VERY minimalistic since i only use VERY few notes and only 1 patch. I dont expect people under 40 to see anything fun in this ;) So bare with me, this is for the old timers out there.

Dude, I was just about to take control of the heart of the sun. And then it was over. Can you play it again, but in slow motion? Like, twelve times slower? :hihi:

A few demos back i made a sweet filter setup made for bass synths. Last night i took this (formular) and applied it to slightly different OSC setups. First i went for typical Saw sound, then moved on to Square sound and last for square hollow sound. 18 basses came out this and then i made a pattern with various modulation sweeps as the sound progress thru the filters. This pattern was copy'ed to all the 18 instances.

Dont expect huge difference between the basses but each of them have a different OSC setting and filter approach.

http://www.michaelkastrup.com/synthdemo ... rmular.mp3

EDIT: doh first example was more like within the solo range of a bass synth so i took it further down 1 octave.
Hmmm that changed the keyfollow on filter a bit so i will have to compensate for that on some patches.
