[solved] z2 hipitched sound

Hi Urs.

Since I upgraded to the latest beta of Zebra2 (2.2b4) I've noticed on some occassions that there was a terrible hipitched sound on some of the presets. I thought it might've been a bug in my host, since it's undergoing some new development at the moment (Renoise) - however, now I seem to have narrowed it down.. it's the Reverb-module using the Reverb model (not the MetalVerb). Switching it off or changing it's mode to the MetalVerb removes the hipitched sound.

For the example I used the preset "px pseudo64 bassy" from the Psycox presets.

Now that I know what to do to avoid the hipitched sound there's no rush, so enjoy the weekend

I think I saw a post about this a while ago. Urs had some compiler problems on Windows. I can't seem to find the exact post on this. Be sure to grab 2.2B5 to see if it's still there.

The release of V2.2 is pretty imminent... just 2-3 more minor issues... free update of course...

You only need the beta to load OSC presets created by jupiter8's tool. If it's then saved again from within Zebra, it'll load just fine in any version of zebra.

Another bizarre thing happening here with the newest beta, Urs. With some of the HH patches from the Virus challenge, I get a mosquito pitched buzz panning between the speakers with no apparent cause for it. Try for example V-Pad 4 in the Virus factory preset bank to see what I mean.

Dude, that's a bug in the Reverb... some compiler issue that needed a code update... fixed in
