This is great news because HQS1 is one of my favorite soundsets.
I downloaded the presets and started going through them. The ones I got to sounded very good but it takes forever for Wusikstation to find the soundset. I get the "searching missing file" message on every preset. I even moved the whole HQS1 soundset into the Wusik Data Soundsets directory. I sure hope there is a better way to get through this list. Once it has loaded a preset, then that preset will load pretty quickly. There should be a way to tell WS which directory to search first.
I lost my patience with WS and decided to enjoy the soundset through EVE. I think the EVE presets sound better. EVE really is a beautiful sounding synth.
Thank you for this great addition to an already great purchase. Anyone, who hasn't bought this should really give it a good listen.

Glad you like the presets!
About the searching for the soundsets. This happens on the first time you load a presets, and will happen with *any* Wusikstation preset where the soundset path of the user differs from the soundset path of the creator. My EVE Data folder, and the HQS1r folder, is here:
[DRIVE]:\Wusikstation DATA\SoundSets\EVE Data\HQS FS1r
Any different path will mean that Wusik has to find the soundsets during the first time you load a preset. It is simply a consequence of being able to position your Wusikstation sounds and presets however you like.
Hope this helps.
Paul.

Does this still include the original presets we designed way back? Also can I download them as an owner/contributor to original set and will they work in WS version 2? (I'll need a login if I can)

Yes, all the original EVE presets are there, but now the 135 Wusik presets are added, as well as the Twin Dash Player VSTi and 32 presets for TDP.aMUSEd wrote:Does this still include the original presets we designed way back? Cool
Don't forget folks there are also 2 64 preset banks for EVE on my site, one of which (Miles Beyond) was made using the HQS1 soundset and includes many patches I made for the original bank but there wasn't room for them all in the final version as well as some that extend it by using sounds from the default bank as well.

Thought it would be OK to put this here - keep them all together

Where I can download all presets for Wusikstation? I have own and presets from Daniel but I see that also Tek created some presets for this library and I don't have his presets.
When I try my link to Member Area I can see only the download of HQS5 FX Machine.

Thanks for the TDP presets for FS1R. Are TDP presets available yet for Mellotronix? (Come to think of it, are presets really necessary for a 'tron?)
I have Eve2, but have lately been using TDP instead, since I've installed a new machine.
