I'm tellin' ya: try out dbpoweramp; everything is done with a right-click and a single dialogue box. I'm sure you already got an audio editor.

Holy crap just found this cool throw back..

Tried it out and it seems to work pretty good! You simply set the keys & velocity and then press dump! Pretty amazing.. The thing that makes it perfect is that it AUTOLOOPS and can save as a sf2 (spanning all keys inbetween). Perfect way to create instruments from synths! WAY COOL.. Oh and it does'nt hurt that you can layer instruments on top of one another!!
Looks like it became abandonware as the site is now a link farm and download is dead.. I have an older version I think (0.41 DEMO) and will upload it if anyone is interested..

Was messing with this thing for an hour now and it's really stable with hosts that act as VST's (FL7 & eXT 1.41).. I'm so impressed that I'm going to spend the rest of the eve seeing where it can fit into my workflow.. Oh and the SF2's come out as separate stereo files (can be a bad thing in certain situations or good depending)..

Limits were set up to sampling time - max hold time is 2000ms, and max release time is 500ms
I hope this version will work for You
