Well, the oscs are all set to the deafult saw, I cant make them more sawy lol. I have also added some noise but this is the limit, otherwise it stands out too much and it ruins it.

The virus arp has quite a bit of noise in it though :)
but anyway, it sounds good.. you should give the patch to Urs to include in the patch lists

Is there somewhere people are getting the midi file for that virus trance arp demo? I could do it by ear but that's a lot of notes!

I will join the fun too. Discovery Pro in action using a factory preset from [05] Jeff bank:

No reverb, direct to master with a little compression only.

Very good! Like that one a lot. More bang than the Virus to me.

I don't like the closed filter very much but once it opens it starts getting nice and dirty :)

Yeah very good.
I think the initial challenge has been met now.
Rogers other Zebra2 example was imo another very close match.

I hope you both post the patches at some point so Zebra 2 users can verify they are the real deal.

So it's over now? Mission accomplished?

An Adam Van Baker Zebra Trance bank would be rather excellent [hint hint] :)

Hey all,
I could post up another couple of Virus sounds if you like. I've only had it for a week or so, though. I've just started to noodle around with Zebra too, a little. It isn't an as immediately simple interface to negotiate as the Virus for me, like. I'm leaning towards Zebra as the more versatile synth, sure, just going on the preset tones. I have found some Virus sounds to love though, mainly filtered, LFO'd and saturated squares and saws. There isn't many of these sounds in the Zebra leads. I could suss out web hosting if anyone's interested to hear.
Wishing you satisfying music, nix

how about making zebra or the virus do this?
