C'mon man don't be shy.To ease the pain i'll post a huge FR so yours will look tiny in comparison.Just for you.

Urs i know you lie sleepless at night over the underspeced oscillator FX.As i understand it,they're phase modulators. But to have just a couple of them preset is really unZebralike. So how about fully editable phase modulation ? A graphics window where you can freely adjust the phase modulation curve. Taht'll be truly unique and Zebraworthy.

File this under "Will take huge amounts of work and only 3 people in the whole world will use it". And if that folder isn't full already i've got plenty more. :D

I've noticed that when browsing patches, as soon as I find a patch close enough to tweak into shape, I click on a module only to realize that I am in patch browse mode so how about:

when in patch browse mode, Zebra automatically switches into synthesis mode as soon as a DSP module is clicked upon?

The only reason that you would click on a DSP module is if you want to be in edit mode...

Small point, but would make the interface even more elegant...

Good point! Might be an option to think about! :)

Another shortcut suggestion:

While in Synthesis mode, control + click on the patch name to bring up a popup with ALL preset patches and folders - which then returns to edit mode after your selection.

I got a quickie, support for midilearn to record the midi channel along with the CC#. Since the number of truly usable CC messages is <100 this would be a nice way to get many more options, especially given the amount of midi learn items available in Z2. For example, if I want to map one CC to every widget in the ARP submenu I'm already at 80 not including the two arpmods (that's 112 with ARPmods). There's not a lot of room left for filter cutoffs. I know this may be a bit of a corner case, but with the total number of options available in Z2 it seems like a shame to onl allow 128 CCs. Changing the format of the midimap shouldn't be too hard, you can use something like:

Code: Select all

11:2=VCC:Amod1 //VoiceCircuit:Arp Step Control1 - CC 12, Channel 3
Oh and +1 again to latching arp notes (can anyone guess what I've been doing lately? :D)

One last thing, it looks like the elements of the ARP don't understand relative midi commands, I had to use all absolute to get every option.

don't know if already sayed but the -+ button in enveloppe could be replaced by one which toggles so the mouse can keep the same position.
Just to mention.

Yep! Thought about it... easy but tricky - unless I wanna clutter my environment... but that special case may be doable...

Well there's two good reasons why I won't be holding my breath about this one :hihi:

Another suggestion for improvement:

In Zebra I really do appreciate having all presets available directly from tZebra's preset browser window as it gives consistency in whichever host I am using.

However do I find the whole idea of navigating to the zebra presets folder to organize presets using Win explorer (even with a shortcut on the desktop ) time consuming, user unfriendly and quite frankly, illogical.

why can't we do it all from the preset browser? (save, delete, copy and drag 'n drop presets between folders.)

Surely that's what a preset browser is for?

If that isn't possible, then at the very least a <delete preset> command in the preset browser would make things easier

Yo Mr. Bagginz,

All of these things will eventually pop up, but I need a couple of days to get started on advanced preset organization...

Nah, today we went for a little boat ride along the coast:

There's some impressive rock in Oman!

Now off to enjoy the complimentary cocktail & canapes, after they finally picked up the coffee & afternoon snacks from the balcony table. I can post images of that. It's pure decadence...

Tomorrow we're hopping to the other hotel... I'm afraid we'll already miss our personal butler...
