it works nicely with plucked synths also, like HarpTime, enhancing the presence ,

also add warmth to sample players.

Please let me know what you think if you try it.

Oooh, sometimes I pretend like I can play guitar. I'll have to download this!
Surely there must be consensus by now...

An interesting effect, liqih. Mapped dif and size to a couple of hardware sliders then loaded HarpTime, RePling and Suburban Guitarist. This was in Phrazor so I had a bunch of clips I could trigger while messing with the sliders. I think I hear what you mean by "presence".

I also think I hear it modulating the sound just the right amount. For the last hour anyway. (Only meant to try it out [in the context of the original thread] and report back 'cause my guitar is definitely not electric.)

Hmmmm, about that other thread, any hope of a liqih/xoxos software collab in the not too distant future?

...mmm... Ill have go at this...I had an acoustic guitar modeller pedal (the cheapy behringer one) which wasnt bad but I got a real acoustic and dumped it...the only problem is i cant ever get enough peace and quiet in my place to record a real acoustic!...so I was thinking of getting the pedal again.. Ill try this out though and report back..

well I like what he does but he seems to work only with SE so far, which I don't use,

but I read he started into C++, so maybe

I like what it does to some cheaper sounding guitar VSTi's and SF2's.. Thanks.. Gotta keep my eye on this one for sure..

Update

- Different internal configuration
- Different EQ
- Dynamic High EQ parameters with Wah option

better or worst that the previous beta??

Post

The latest version is far better. The low notes are clear instead of pushing the bass eq section way too far.

I like it best on a bass guitar, it can be used as an amp sim.

Cool. I played with it a bit, but only the old version that had booming bass. I'll try the new one and see how it works. Thanks, liqih!

Ok the new version freezes FL7.. Does not even open.. Any help with this?

EDIT: my bad took a while but it opened now..

HOLY CRAP!! Sounds amazing on Broomstick Bass. I get some crackling if the size is all the way down.. What is the actual min max frequency value? CPU seems a tad high now..

Also can you consider adding a LP/HP F? This way I can use it to layer as a secondary backing/forground bass..

cool, so it's confirmed that is also a good Bass fx, <grin>

-crackling on Size at zero is my mistake
-high CPU is for I need to code an optimized HP filter, while now I use two SM default modules
What is the actual min max frequency value?
for what?
Also can you consider adding a LP/HP F?
they are there already, just needs to give you the freq,

anyway don't forget that I'm trying to make an acoustic simulation, so please keep trying with an electric guitar also, thanks

liqih, does your wife feeds you vitamines or am I realy too slow/lazy/busy !?
Now I've got already 3 of your Deepboards and I haven't tried a single one ! :help: :-o  I even bought a new external HD to keep up with you !
Software seems to be a lot faster to make than hardware !
I'll see if I can flush an electric guitar through it today, but first photos for my mother !

Ciao,

Marcolino... .. . :P
