..liqh, i appreciate your efforts to make an acoustic gutar sim and I have run my electric through this but to be honest it doesnt change the main sound of the electric at all.
I mean that it still sounds like an electric but with extra sound added instead of a "new" acoustic sound....As I said above I used to own the behringer acoustic simulator and that created a pretty realistic steel string guitar sound from an electric signal.. (there was a bit too much noise in the signal though)..

thanks for the feedback,
the pedal you mean it this,
http://www.activemusician.com/item--EM.BHR-AM100 right?
yeah by the reports so far it seems that Deepboard works better as bass amp sim than acoustic sim,
anyway I tried DeepBoard here with a strat dry input and the sound change was noticeable,
maybe it's my immagination,LOL,
I'm trying to improve it

Hi Liqih, not bad at all !
I have an acoustic preset in my little Zoom multi-Fx (hardware), but that one just makes me smile a bit.
Your's is going in the right direction. Maybe still a bit too much low-mid.
It definitely gives an acoustic (still a bit digital midi instrument
) sound to the electric guitar.
It "plops" also a bit in the high freq. (compressor ?)
And what you also mentioned : it's as hungry as my brother !
General conclusion : an amazing good start and even an already very acceptable useful result !
Ciao,
Marcolino... .. .

Sorry yea I was hoping to be able to bite further down into harmonics using wah.. It's ok cause I was referring to Bass not electric (higher frequencies)..liqih wrote:for what? What is the actual min max frequency value?
Sooo does that mean you'l add lower cutoff for wah thenliqih wrote:...by the reports so far it seems that Deepboard works better as bass amp sim than acoustic sim..

Max: thanks for testing and the helpfull comments, no "plops" should be there!, <sigh>
please check the new version and let me know,
it also has much more controls now,
Lagrange:
with the new version you should be able to have more control on EQ and wah range, that covers also the EQ settings of the previous versions.
so as above: please check the new version and let me know,

Will there ever be a revised Deepboard? I love it, it's great on bass!

He really was able to make this quickly, somebody said, is there an acoustic simulator plugin, liqih and xoxos both made one in like 5 minutes, then liqih revised it a couple days after to allow the low end.
Wish I could make one! Good stuff.

Lagrange, permit me to put it in these words : I'm missing a good muted trumpet vsti. I've got several sample sets; I even did a small effort to combine them, but nothing satistfying yet...
Maybe an idea for you, Liqih, now that I've seen you've got a lot of stuff nearly finished...
